Geek Tragedy vs. Australia

October 20th, 2010 by Kyle

Hey, everybody – remember that incident about 100 years ago where the British looked at a really brutal upcoming battle, talked it over, and decided to palm it off on some unsuspecting Australians while they all went for some tea and crumpets?

I’ve always found the British to be eminently sensible people.

Thus, two weeks from now, you can join us on the Geek Tragedy podcast and see what happens when we outsource a special insanity-inducing Saturday Morning Rewind review subject to some unsusp… uhm… brave Australian sucke… uhm… volunteers! The above photo was taken in-progress during the review, and as you can see, the results were not pretty. The volunteers were later reported to have been found passed out in piles of beer bottles, muttering nonsense about talking chimps. A sad, sad sight.

So join us then, as the 2Schooners podcast faces their own children’s-television Gallipoli in the form of Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp!

Upcoming Episodes

October 19th, 2010 by Kyle

Hey there, Spider-fans;

So here’s the deal for the next few episodes…

The NPC gang was all there at the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco this past weekend. We met some great people and did some great interviews. The one thing we didn’t do is tape a regular show, so there won’t be one this week. But never fear – we’re going to keep you happy by releasing the interviews that we did as minisodes throughout the next couple of weeks. Next week, we have something special planned – our Halloween roundtable with the Geekgirls. We’ll have plenty of Halloween Best Ofs, reviews, and reminishences, for a special extra-geeky Halloween.

So stay tuned for all of our special late-fall shows. Keep it scarily geeky!
